It’s a core tenent as to why he’s a wack-job, so no. He gets millions of dollars a year in government contracts through Panotopicon, but the government intelligence agencies go too far. He has two full college degrees but he rails against public education.

It really is both. Gawker has no moral highground but setting a precedent of using the courts to bully vocal dissent is frightening. (Not that corporations don’t already abuse the court system against individuals...)it’s going to be much more difficult to report unwanted news if the state bureaucracy allows itself to be a tool in bankrupting those who speak out. Not that Gawker is a paragon of journalistic integrity, but the presedent will be applied more broadly.
